PRODUCT INFORMATION:
FlexRight is an innovative new
product designed to help
contractors install "flex right.”
The radius forming brace is
engineered to eliminate airflow
restrictions and improve HVAC
system efficiency in commercial
and residential buildings by
shaping flexible duct into
efficient 90° elbows.
A major source of excessive energy
consumption is restricted airflow
caused by improperly installed and
kinked flexible ducts (similar to
the restricted water flow in a
kinked garden hose). Restricted
airflow causes air handlers,
furnaces, and A/C units to run
longer cycles wasting and
consuming excessive amounts of
energy. According to the
Department of Energy, HVAC systems
account for 40% to 60% of the
energy used in U.S. commercial and
residential buildings.
FlexRight is specifically designed
to improve airflow, save energy,
and help meet flexible duct
installation radius bend standards
and guidelines as recommended by
SMACNA, Air Diffusion Council,
Energy Star, and ASHRAE.
